El grupo de productos de red empresarial consta principalmente de redes de comunicación por fibra óptica dirigidas a negocios, gobiernos y personas para uso propio.

Molding Technician

Purpose of Position.

Responsible to keep molding machines with efficient OEE to meet the Molding area Metrics, startup molds in molding machines to assure good quality parts to promote an efficient operation, provide process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost and provide molding floor support

Responsibilities and tasks of the position.

• Monitor & record mold cavitation in every machine Startup on mold tag
• Provide technical support to shift for trouble shooting and problem resolution. Ensure equipment and processes meet and sustain standard production outputs
• Work closely with tool room, maintenance, production, Quality & Process Engineer for scheduling any tool work that is required
• Cover vacations and personal time for other Process Techs
• Maintain and improve upon existing manufacturing practices for the manufacture of finished goods
• Provide ideas and corrective actions for ongoing manufacturing issues
• Keep updated setup sheets at machines at all times and keep a new set up sheet with the right machine number and the latest date.
• Maintain the Standard cycle time on all machines at all times
• Maintain Safety guards in Molding Machines for optimum effectiveness.
• Assist in shut downs and start-ups
• Follow all company policies and procedure
• Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company goals and objectives
• Set low pressure and mold protection to ensure minimal risk of mold damage and clean and protect the molds before removal from the press and prior to storage
• Responsible for molding machine set up including auxiliary equipment as related to the molding process
• Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal
• Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner
• Responsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds and tooling
• Responsible for clear and consistent communication between shifts
• Verify machines settings in conformance with the process book.
• Maintain cleaning and organization of mold storage, machines and the mold locations.
• Be familiar with inspection procedures.
• Stop the machines and equipment when end production
• Support activities related to continuous improvement projects
• Ensure 5s requirements are being met in area.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

Education.

• Technical Degree

Work Experience

• 3-4 years of experience on injection molding area
• Knowledge and operation of a diversity of molding equipment (Thermolators, dryers, Injection Molding machines, Cranes, Mold changeovers, etc.
• English skills not required

• Ability to properly star-up of all equipment related with the drying system and supply of resin to injection molding machines for best possible processing results
• Process troubleshooting of various types of equipment related with the drying system and supply of resin to injection molding machines
• Knowledge of plant/machine set-up for proper drying, loading, grinding for best results
• Material handling, monitoring of auxiliary equipment, and minor maintenance required
