Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • You take our product data to the next level, both in terms of accuracy and completeness
  • You will work closely with various departments from engineering to marketing and combine the different pieces of the puzzle in an effective and appealing way
  • In the end, our customers need a near-perfect online catalogue that is easy to navigate and up to date with our latest product innovations
  • At the same time, our distributors need a corresponding product data set in order to be able to add the products to their eCommerce systems

 

Our Requirements:

  • You are currently enrolled at university, preferably in the field of business administration or a comparable degree programme
  • You work carefully and in a structured manner, even if several projects are running in parallel
  • You have good organisational, communication and planning skills
  • You have a good eye for detail
  • You have very good German and English skills (written and oral)
  • You can work 20 h/week during the semester and up to 40 h/week during the semester break
