Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Job Purpose

Regional Marketing Director, Americas Responsible for developing, adapting, and executing highly effective marketing programs to increase market awareness, generate demand, accelerate pipeline, activate partners and grow sales within the Americas region. This role will partner with key stakeholders including product management, business development, marketing services, channel marketing, sales, sales operations and legal to define and execute metrics-driven marketing activities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field  
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in both B2B and with account-based marketing
  • An excellent understanding of marketing functional disciplines
  • Experience creating and implementing successful demand creation strategies
  • Outstanding project and people management skills and the proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel
  • Strong collaboration & negotiation skills, showing ability to influence without ownership, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve agreed upon business outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Increase brand preference by increasing awareness in key customer segments through direct and indirect marketing activities
  • Develop and execute a broad range of integrated inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, programs and promotions to acquire new customers, expand and retain the installed base, generate net new pipeline and accelerate sales opportunities already in pipeline, ensuring that all such activity is closely aligned to Sales priorities and selling activities
  • Work closely with Marketing Services in the overall development and regional management of marketing agencies and partners in region, maximizing regional effectiveness and ROI of the assigned budget
  • Coach, motivate and develop a successful team made up of 15 marketing professionals

The range for this position is $176,139.00 - $242,192.00.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
