Purpose of this position:

The Product Line Manager is responsible for managing specific glass products within the Gorilla Glass full-sheet product portfolio to maximize profitability through the product life cycle. This includes engaging in decisions on defining what products to develop and offer, creating value proposition and selling tools, assisting with forecasting, and serving as a key interface with the Gorilla Glass commercial, finance, manufacturing, quality and engineering organizations for day-to-day operations.

Day to Day responsibilities:

• Work with Industry Intelligence and the Gorilla Glass commercial and technical organizations to understand market trends, technologies and competitive products
• Articulate our value propositions, product attributes, specifications, basis of competition and product trajectory; become expert on downstream use of our products
• Support the development of Gorilla Glass annual product line plans, Green Book (5-year plan) and Black Book (Budget)
• Provide and maintain necessary sales tools such as positioning statement, value proposition presentation, and other sales tools to customer-facing organizations to ensure effective deployment of product line strategies
• Collect voice of customer feedback regarding new products and services and product changes/upgrades
• Provide internal and external training on new product offerings, product changes and product end-of-life planning
• Interpret customer needs and provide key input/decision for capacity planning through forecasting and demand management process
• Support the development of product pricing strategies
• Work with sales organization to segment customer base and prioritize customer interactions at the product level
• Work with legal and sales teams to define contractual terms and participate in the approvals of the supply agreement process
• Work with marketing communications to support development of external communications, including product collateral, tradeshow and conference materials, press releases, public relations, web communications and social media as appropriate

Required Education / Experience:

• Bachelor degree in business or technical field
• MBA or equivalent desired
• 3+ years of business or management experience
• Strong business acument and analytical skills with able to turn quantitative analysis into meaningful business insights
• Demonstrated ability to interface and work in teams with people across functional and geographic boundaries
• Ability to manage business relationships and work independently using combination of data driven analysis, strategic thinking, networking and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful environment
• Well-organized, process-oriented with systematic approach to problem solving

The range for this position is  $121,205.00   -  $166,657.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
