Purpose of the Position:


Customer facing product technology leader that manages the technical account plans for new and existing customers, includes understanding product use requirements for all drugs and filling lines and measuring, defining, and communicating how Velocity &Valor technology improve drug quality and increases manufacturing efficiency. Be the main connection point between sales and technology to translate customer problems into potential internal projects


Day to Day Responsibilities:

-Leads response plans for customer issues/data requests

-Leads specification alignment with customers

-Lead thinking and developing best practices/guidelines on customer training, data collection/analyses, etc. And conduct customer trainings

-Identifies differences between engineered product use window and customer use conditions and works with PE/Quality/Manufacturing to resolve gaps in product design/control plan/manufacturing

-Maintain line trial tracker to support our value prop, including documentation of results and learnings from customer qualification activities

-Works with PLMs to determine product use space requirements for vials and other formats

-Identify and engage with influencers and key stakeholders in the pharma packaging ecosystem, such equipment OEM’s, component suppliers, independent technical associations/institution, even support regulatory and government affairs

-Lead and be the main commercial counterpart on collaboration projects with equipment OEM’s, component suppliers, independent technical associations/institution…

-Participate directly in marketing tactics, such as creating and delivery of presentations, publications, etc.

-Collaborate with PLM’s, account managers, and business development on messaging on product claims, complaints, etc.

-Be the main connection point between sales and technology to translate customer problems into potential internal projects

-Gather intelligence from sales meetings to inform competitive and marketing intelligence, and product roadmap

-Collaborate with business development and account management to win new customers and drive more sales within existing accounts

-Lead or consult on technical projects with customers

-Travel Requirements: 20-40%


Required Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Physics or related area, Master or PHD would be a plus

-Minimum 10 years’ related working experience

-Sophisticated commercial technology experience in MNC Pharmaceutical industry and /or injectable drug packaging industry

-Technical report writing skills -High level of technical rigor

-Good communication skills in both Chinese and English

-Understand culture conflict and handle the difference

-Good presentation skill

-Problem solving skill and analytical skills
