Purpose of the Position:

The Asia Commercial Application Analyst will be the Commercial Application Service owner in Asia region and will work closely with Global Commercial Application Service line, business users, external partners and internal IT teams to support the applications, including but not limited to Salesforce.com, Adobe Experience Manager, SAP Hybris, Lucidworks Fusion Search (SOLR) and Google Analytics. The role’s primary responsibilities will be majorly responsible for supporting SalesForce.com opportunities generation, project delivery, solution enhancement and other business-related system support to ensure teams have the right skills and composition to deliver quickly and respond to emerging requirements. Candidate will be working collaboratively with business users and IT Global Commercial Application teams from proposal development to deployment in commercial area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Engage with internal/external customers in Asia to help global application teams analyze requirements from a business and systems perspective by interpreting business goals and objectives and translating them into technical solutions.

Engage in identifying potential new product solutions that the market will embrace.

▪ Participate through discussion to architect and implement business function in SFDC and/or other platforms.

▪ Work closely with domain experts and supporting personnel to understand the underlying business problem or opportunity, previous approaches to addressing them, then recommending a solution that achieves the desired outcome aligned to established standards and strategic roadmap.

▪ Proven track record of application ownership and delivering solutions that make meet business demands and are technically sound

▪ Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com and/or other platforms.

▪ Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation.

▪ Hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)

▪ Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform

▪ Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.

▪ Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.

▪ Act as a point of escalation for Service Desk and ServiceNow ticketing for advanced issue resolution.

 

Preferred Experience

▪ Bachelor’s degree required - Computer Science, MIS or equivalent

▪ Excellent presentation skill, good English verbal and written communication skills

▪ 5+ years’ experience working on Salesforce platforms

▪ Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration

 

Required Skills

▪ Familiar with SalesForce core technologies, developer toolkit - Apex, VisualForce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs

▪ Experience in development languages like java / .net / SQL.

▪ A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment

▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities judiciously

▪ Excellent Communication skills ▪ Global work experience, working across regions and cultures.

▪ Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
