POSITION DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the Position:
The Corning Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence is building world class recruitment capability globally. The selected candidate for this role will play an important role to support process improvements, field education & training so that talent acquisition becomes a core capability for the HR function as a whole.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work closely with the designated BUs and RPO team, ensure the best-in-class recruiting operation will be delivered and meet the hiring demands in time
Conduct in-take meeting with hiring managers, provide insight on external talent market, and define sourcing strategy
Ensure ongoing communication and updates with key stakeholders, driving to achieve desired quality, timing, and efficiency outcomes
Participate in key Talent Acquisition programs, projects, processes and policies in compliance with current legal and regulatory policies
Identify market trends and suggest approaches, solutions, and enabling technologies that will improve ability to meet strategic objectives
Collaborate with BUHR partners, business leaders, and other HR Center of Excellence to expedite integration of business-relevant programs, processes, policies and systems
Interact with vendors per service level agreement (SLA), as needed, to maximize delivery of outsourced services
Educate customers about when and how to properly use Talent Acquisition programs, processes and policies
Data analysis and reporting to enhance Talent Acquisition programs efficiency and effectiveness
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree
6-8 years working experiences with 3-4 years Talent Acquisition experiences in industrial company, corporate or plant.
Good experience working with mid-level to senior level managers
Good experience of hard to fill and high-volume hiring
Solid experiences in hiring process from end to end, familiar with sourcing, mapping, assessment, talent market research skills and methodologies
DESIRED SKILLS
Strong project management skills, doing well in strategic and thorough planning, being able to lead the assigned work to achieve Talent Acquisition goals
Good presentation skills and training delivery skills will be a high plus
Efficient computer skills, especially in PPT and Excel
Fluent English both oral and written
SOFT SKILLS
Strong communication skills in sophisticated environment
Good team player, with the ability to influence clients with professionalism and consultancy
