CBW Process Engineer

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Establish goals and objectives in conjunction with Group Leader and manage the engineering activities in equipment design to achieve the said objectives.
• Support operations personnel via trouble shooting and provide training as needed.
• Provide project leadership for facility processes
• including feasibility studies, planning, AR sponsorship, complete documentation, i.e., generally accepted project management guidelines.
• Design, modify, and recommend equipment types to meet or exceed requirements in operation.
• Lead developments and propose engineering programs in equipment design that can improve or enhance the current process capabilities.
• Major areas are in (but not restrict to) finishing clean room area, inner packing (link to second packing) and related facilities
• Train and certify shop floor people and ensure all people follow SOP

Project involved with

• Work with expansion project team for equipment design, installation and start up.
• Work with maintenance department to ensure the equipment reliability.
• Work with production department to improvement yield and uptime stability.
• Lead and initiate project to achieve lowest cost operation.
• Conduct follow up assignment.

Reporting Structure Immediate Supervisor

• Engineering Section Manager - Direct reports - Regular shift

Education and Experience

• BS or above Degree in Engineering.

Required Skills

• Familiar with BOM (basic of manufacturing), KT problem solving, and statistic data analysis.
• Project experience;
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Good presentation and reporting skills
• Good discipline (PDPC & 5S)
• Good data analysis and Excel skills
• 6-sigma experience
• Have a strong ownership of achieving plant goal
• Fix problem with timing, cost saving, data-driven, and detail oriented.
• Can work independently by him/herself and also work well within team group
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up ability
• Creative and with strong continuous improvement work characteristic
• Train other people
