Role Purpose:

• Lead MAP/Division level ERP transformation and migration to SAP S/4 HANA environment

• Develop effective roadmap and budget with the corporate Global Operations Transformation (GOT) team/resources

• Partnership with BEIT, GOT and IT team for ERP deployment project to business and ensure meeting up business objectives and managing scope, cost and resources

• Build up business transformation COE team to support business ERP transformation deployment projects and sustain operations after migration journey.

• Work cross-functionally with functional lead such as planning, logistics, procurement, commercial, business finance, manufacturing/engineering and quality to ensure business adoption, process standardization and change management

• Develop business power user network and develop seed users for long term knowledge sustaining

• Enable data management team to manage, government, and control business data by working with GOT Enterprise Data team, IT data management office and global data owner.

• Team leadership and Project management leadership Long Term objectives of Role (beyond ERP)

• Build up overall MAP/Division level business system migration journey considering both SAP and other key business legacy system.

• Manage business system project portfolios

• Lead business Digital Transformation efforts by enabling business data analytics capability and deployment to enrich business insights. Key Responsibilities:

• MAP/Division ERP transformation project management from roadmap planning to deliver

• Resource planning to enable deployment and sustaining resource strategy to support the roadmap and after go-live.

• Work with GOT and IT team to conduct planning project and develop funding planning to support transformation program

• Ensure business leadership alignment on transformation project, including process for escalation and resolution

• Responsible to develop business process and capability map and approach to standardization

• Responsible to define, track and improve key business objectives through ERP transformation and business system integration and migration

• Coordinate and define budget plan to support business system initiatives with business function leaders, IT and Finance

• Develop the team to strengthen functional and system expertise and depth of knowledge

• Manage service providers for project internally and externally

• Ensure daily operation support to keep business sustaining with no interruption.

• SAP process knowledge and experiences, including SAP implementation experience, would be ideal but not be resident with Corning’s ERP history

• Differentiated skills and experiences in end-to-end supply chain (Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver) with demonstrated performance history to work closely with AO operational groups

• Financial knowledge and experiences

• Ability to identify and development talent

Experiences/Education: Required

• Bachelor Degree (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management).

• 15+ years end-to-end system and processes experience including some as a manager spanning any and all aspects of a large manufacturing company

• Global work experience, working across regions and cultures.

 

Desired, not required:

• Hands-on SAP experience

• Hands-on Digital experience

• SAP Professional Certifications

• Supply Chain certifications

• Experience across multiple businesses, division and/or technologies.
