Job Purpose

The Marketing Intern will support the Rural Broadband program team in the execution of the marketing program focused on delivering growth in the Rural Broadband marketing. Activities include support the development of our digital content plan, organizing local events, development of content focused on engaging the Rural Broadband ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support Educational Events: Such as support of webinars and educational content focused on increasing awareness in the Rural Broadband Ecosystem. 
  • Event Support: Support in the execution of roadshow events to further penetrate local Rural Broadband markets
  • Content Marketing Plan: Develop and execute content marketing plans to drive key campaign themes and result in increased engagement and conversion.
  • Social Media and E-mail Marketing: Develop and deploy nurturing campaigns targeting engaged customers with the intent of generating demand for our offerings.
  • Special Projects: Will be asked to contribute to and support additional strategic marketing initiatives as they emerge.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Experience with digital platforms such as a SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Social Media Management Platform, Marketing Automation Platform & Content Management Platform is a plus.
  • Strong verbal/written skills and excellent interpersonal and phone skills to communicate effectively with external and internal customers.
  • Proven analytical, organizations, and process skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office Tools.
  • Flexibility facing new challenges, opportunities, process & technologies Projects: FTTE Buying Journey, Conversion of PDF to webpage, Content Inventory and Update, IMP support, Content Marketing Plan
