Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

  1. Purpose of Position.   Design / Develop/ Deploy Learning & development programs to prepare key talent to address current and future challenges in Reynosa & Monterre
  2. Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:
  • Designing, deployment and management of different programs for leadership development like LDP
  • Designing, deployment and management of development programs and actions for specific talent groups like Emerging Talent, Talent to Watch and Knowledge Experts
  • Partners with WD&L for deployment of programs like Straight Talk, FCM III, Become a Leader@Corning, etc.
  • Acts as an Advisor/Consultant for different groups within the organization in topics related to integration, team building and development

A. Education.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, or similar/related field like Psychology, Communications, Industrial Engineering, Administration.
  • Graduate Degree (preferred) Learning and Development preferred
  • MBA (Nice to have)

 B. Work Experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development (preferred) and/or Organizational Development
