In this role, you will contribute to transforming raw data into actionable insights by leveraging analytical tools, statistical models, and machine learning techniques. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to solve real-world problems, optimize workflows, and support business decisions. You will work with a feasibility development team to assess and develop capabilities that are suitable for operational deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring quality and usability for analysis or modeling.
- Perform statistical analysis and generate visualizations to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights in datasets.
- Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models to solve business challenges, optimizing for accuracy and efficiency.
- Build dashboards, charts, and reports using visualization tools to clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist with designing and maintaining data pipelines, writing efficient code and SQL queries to process and store data effectively.
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams, present insights, and contribute to discussions that shape project outcomes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science and actively seek opportunities to refine skills and knowledge.
- Document processes, training, methodologies, and findings, and present results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement digital projects and initiatives for manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Understanding of foundational machine learning concepts, algorithms, and workflows.
- Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (e.g Databricks).
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying and scaling machine learning models.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a global team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with global teams and stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and applications, such as IoT, AI robotics, and automation.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git for collaborative coding projects.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in the field of AI/ML, data science, and Industry 4.0.
