Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

  1. Purpose of Position.   
  1. Support Human Resources department Plant 2 with daily chores and necessities of union and confidential employees, as well as the close following of disciplinary methods and policies.                                                                        

 

  1. Mention the major responsibilities and tasks of the position.
  1. Labor conflicts resolutions
  2. Assist Human Resources Manager/HR Superintendent in clerical functions when required.
  3. To give orientation to new hires about CCS internal rules.                                                                  

 

6.    Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

 

 A. Education.

  • Bachelor degree in Business administration or equivalent                                                

       B. Work Experience.

  •  5 +  years of experience in the HR field.
  • Labor issues experience                                        

 C. Additional Skills.

  • English required.
  • Act as team member, leader and facilitator.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple, complex tasks and complete all tasks on time every time.
  • Microsoft office proficient (excel, word, powerpoint)
  • Able to communicate to all levels.

      

7. Extraordinary Activities.

A. Contribute and participate in Internal and External Audits in department, as well as being responsible for the good results of such.

    Some examples of Audits are: ISO, TL, 5's, Safety, Sarbox, among others.
