Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

The IT SAP S/4 HANA RtP Consultant will be responsible for support of enterprise-class applications. Systems for development include SAP S/4 Private Instance, Encompasses the support and development of ERP application

In this role you will work as an operation support specialist in new Global S4 HANA team being created in strategic ERP Transformation Organization. You will work in international company with great history having many divisions and subsidiaries all over the world. Key Responsibilities

You will work with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the SAP RTP (Request to Pay) workstream, what includes

  • Work with operations team in support break/fix activities
  • Work in an international team, using collaboration tools, to operate as one, cohesive Operations team.
  • Conducting working sessions with business users as required to clarify requirements or troubleshoot issues.
  • Research and applying OSS notes as required to resolve issues. 
  • Work in Corning’s ITSM related applications like ServiceNow, Teams, Sharepoint, SAP ChaRM
  • Development of documentation and testing procedures, as well as performing knowledge sharing sessions

Experiences/Education - Required

​​​​​

  • 3+ years SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4
  • Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design
  • Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices
  • RTP/R2P stream - Ability to demonstrate S/4 HANA processes in Requisition to Pay
  • Experience in MM (Material Management) implementation & customizing
  • Experience in dealing with key integration areas procurement, finance, supply chain and warehouse management
  • Experience in S4 Conversion, workflow, interfaces and EDI

 

Required Skills

  • Requisition to Pay (RTP) - Ability to demonstrate S/4 HANA Processes for Request to Pay
    • Procurement: Requisitioning and Quotations  
    • Purchasing: PO/Invoice matching and Goods Receipts 
    • Invoice Processing: Downpayments, recurring payments, Managing credit notes
    • Payments experience: Payment Program, Direct Debit functionality and Payment file output and payment file transfer 
    • Vendor Master Data: Vendor Master Data management/standardization, Vendor Master Data cleanse and Vendor Master/Customer Master offsetting 
  • Experienced SAP S4 HANA RTP/R2P/Requisition to Pay Consultant to work on Identify and resolve complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements.

 

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Experience in other SAP Modules 
  • Development Experience (ABAP is strong plus)
  • Friori, Adobe forms, and workflow experience
  • Proficiency in debugging complex programs
  • ServiceNow experience
