What is your role?

As Logistics Manager you will oversee and manage all campus logistics operations to ensure efficient flow of materials, equipment, and supplies across campus facilities.Lead warehousing, shipping, transportation, inventory control, and trade compliance activities in support of academic, administrative, research, and operational needs as well as develop and maintain logistics processes that improve service levels, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost effectiveness.

 

What will you do?

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and distribution.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, packaging, and carrier coordination.
  • Coordinate campus transportation and delivery schedules for materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through tracking, cycle counts, replenishment, and reporting.
  • Monitor stock levels to balance product availability with cost-effective inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping, import/export, customs, and trade regulations.
  • Maintain required shipping and trade documentation and support audits or inspections.
  • Supervise logistics staff and establish efficient, safe, and standardized operating procedures.
  • Work with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to support service levels and operational needs.
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service.

 

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, shipping, transportation, or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems and shipping/trade compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • 3+ years leading logistics teams and operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced campus environment.
