Materials Control Specialist

We are looking for a Materials Control Specialist to coordinate, analyze, and audit logistics processes while ensuring inventory accuracy, process compliance, and continuous improvement across the department.

 

What is your role?

As a Materials Control Specialist, you will support logistics operations by controlling material flow, auditing inventory transactions, and ensuring processes are aligned with department objectives and regulatory requirements.

 

Major responsibilities and tasks

  • Monitor inbound and outbound material movement, including material in transit.
  • Maintain control of material flow through the Kanban system.
  • Audit logistics processes to ensure compliance with written procedures.
  • Support project tracking and scheduling to keep activities under control.
  • Develop metrics and drive continuous improvement in logistics and inventory processes.
  • Help ensure inventory accuracy and identify root causes of transaction variances.

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in inventory control.
  • Experience with Kanban processes.
  • Knowledge of accounting.
  • Bilingual communication skills, leadership, and follow-up on action items.
