Join our team as a Product Line Planner and play a critical role in ensuring product availability, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What is your role?
As a Product Line Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating demand and supply planning activities for assigned product lines, ensuring seamless execution of both short-term and long-term planning strategies.
You will work closely with manufacturing, logistics, planning, commercial, and product management teams to align supply chain capabilities with customer demand and business objectives. This role is instrumental in maintaining optimal inventory levels, balancing capacity requirements, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement in planning processes.
Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:
• Facilitate plant and regional planning reviews to ensure supply and demand plans align with business goals and customer requirements.
• Lead the development of supply plans within the SIOP process, ensuring alignment between manufacturing capabilities, supply chain requirements, and business objectives.
• Perform scenario planning and capacity modeling to identify risks, close supply gaps, and evaluate opportunities.
• Analyze demand and supply imbalances and communicate recommendations to stakeholders to support product line strategies.
• Coordinate security of supply activities and manage accelerated recovery plans (aRPM) to meet customer demand and reduce lead times.
• Track, monitor, and report key supply chain performance indicators, identifying and escalating issues when necessary.
• Support new product introductions, transitions, and product phase-outs through inventory and supply planning activities.
• Partner with plant and global teams to optimize capacity, improve flexibility, and facilitate effective communication across the supply chain.
• Represent manufacturing in forecast consensus meetings, balancing statistical forecasting data with commercial insights to create accurate MPS/MRP plans.
• Participate in Supply Chain planning reviews to align production schedules, inventory targets, prebuild plans, and stocking strategies.
• Provide regular Product Line Overviews and Product Team Plans to Supply Chain and Product Management stakeholders.
• Represent Supply Chain functions within Product Teams to ensure alignment between operational capabilities and business requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic business projects.
What do you need to have?
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, or related functions.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory management, and scenario analysis.
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of MRP, MPS, S&OP/SIOP, and supply planning processes.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and customer-facing organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a focus on planning accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
• Advanced English communication skills.

• Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, PMP, or Six Sigma.

• Strong knowledge of advanced planning systems and supply chain analytics.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management.
