Trade Compliance Specialist

What is your role?

As a Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable international trade laws and regulations. This includes monitoring and interpreting trade regulations, preparing documentation, conducting audits, and providing guidance on trade compliance matters to internal stakeholders.  

Major responsibilities and tasks

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and other applicable laws.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation for import and export operations.
• Ensure accurate product classification and manage required declarations and licenses.
• Conduct internal audits to identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assess trade compliance risks and recommend strategies to minimize exposure.

What do you need to have?

• 0-2 years of experience in Trade Compliance and Customs.  
• Experience with MEX and U.S. export/import regulations and international trade laws. 
• Experience on Annex 30 and Annex 24. 
• Knowledge related to certifications as VAT, OEA and CTPAT. 
• USMCA and Duty mitigation. 
• Experience in the management of an IMMEX.
