New Business Development – New Markets Manager (m/F)

 

ROLE

 

To strengthen our New Business Development Team, we are opening a new position aiming to detect growth opportunities within the Specialty Glass business and identify new customers and partners.

Located in Avon (France), this position reports to the New Business Development Manager (NBD)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

▪ Prospect, identify new opportunities and markets, implement a communication strategy in line with the Company directions and manufacturing capabilities.

▪ Attend trade-shows and conferences in various industries in order to establish a knowledge network to identify opportunities of interest for the business.

▪ Collect commercial information in order to evaluate the opportunity in terms of volumes, pricing, competition and supply chain requirements.

▪ Coordinate and facilitate working groups designed to evaluate the benefit of a development project for the Company.

▪ Provide strategic advice on identified development proposals to the Management Committee and make recommendation about their prioritization.

▪ Follow the commercial files acting as a support of the NBD team.

▪ Prepare the commercial offers and negociate with customers during the development phase (pricing, contracts, etc..).

▪ Perform the sales forecasts reporting from the NBD team. ▪ Interface with NBD colleagues (Commercial, Technical and Supply Chain)

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Business School degree with high technical interest or Engineering education preferably in specialty materials with a successful working experience in commercial area.

Ability to understand, analyze scientific and economic information as well as production process and technical manufacturing capabilities of the Company.

Fluent in English is a must.

 

The candidate will have to justify curiosity and creativity strengths to identify new development opportunities and demonstrate high negotiation skills level, express conviction and determination.

Relational ease, independence, adaptability to work in different environments.

Frequent travels overseas.
