Major Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fab planners to identify the issues/problems under current process and find synergy opportunity among 8 fabs in China, for example,
    • Improve MRP (material requirement planning, FLB/IDP/HDP/MDP/Film/Paper/Wooden…etc.) process with DSM
    • FS crate assignment optimization
    • Lead new product/customer/line/tank phase in/out
    • Non-std./aged Inventory management – Develop systematic report (Tableau or PowerBI) instead of manual work, identify gaps or opportunities, drive actions and routinely checking to meet business target
  • Engage with Division Logistics/Manufacturing/Commercial/Finance to co-work on productivity improvement, customer relationship maintenance and cost optimization
    • Represent planning team to co-work with DSM/Region/fab on cost optimization (transportation optimization/outside warehouse planning etc.)
    • Coordinate with Commercial team if any project related customer engagement (e.g HKC MDP/8D frame turnover improvement. Cassette turnover improvement, long lead time-line maintenance in Corning/customer site…etc.)
  • Scheduling process optimization, documentation and standardization in DCC (Document Control Center) or SharePoint;
    • Enhance Planning skill for fab planner or new comer
    • Support audit preparations (AME, SOX…etc.)
  • China planning operations performance improvement
    • Production planning reliability(Job change; Simplify FS/FG code management…etc.)
    • FS/FG/Cassette/IDP Inventory Management
    • Line utilization optimization
    • Support Yearly/quarterly performance target setting and review regularly
  • Support Division SCM improvement project (supply chain dashboard, TRR improvement…etc.)
  • Support Scheduling tool implementation – Specify detailed scheduling requirements, Justify or test system to meet user’s requirement via collaboration with COE/IT in order to optimize scheduling efficiency and minimize manual work…etc.    



  • Good at problem analysis, logical and positive thinking
  • Capable of executing individual task with good deliverable results
  • Supply chain, supply planning or engineering background is preferred



  • University graduation or above, in Industrial Engineering, Business, Engineering
  • 10+ years’ experience working in supply chain planning, scheduling
  • Project management experience



  • Able to resolve confliction and align priorities cross functions
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to hands-on in producing tangible deliverables if needed



  • Well communication with internal member and external customer
  • Proficient in utilizing Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
  • Fluent in verbal and spoken English
  • Familiar with BI tools, such like Tableau or Power BI
  • Project skill: KT and 6 sigma Green belt
  • CPIM / CSCP certification is preferred
