Purpose of the Position:

Manage all aspects of logistics for manufacturing facility


Day to Day Responsibilities:

Initially, this person will coordinate logistics for incoming capital equipment during the installation phase of the project, including interaction with Duty and Customs officials.


When the factory begins production, this person will manage all activities required for the delivery of raw material and consumable products from suppliers, movement of materials within the facility storage areas and production areas, and outgoing logistics to warehouses and to final customer locations.  This person will lead projects to deliver continuous and step cost reduction and improvement in service levels.  They will track logistics performance metrics and communicate these regularly to plant leadership. This person will be a critical part of the supply chain team and will work closely with the planning and procurement functions to deliver a seamless flow of materials.


Education & Experience

  • 2-year or 4-year degree
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain field, including logistics and/or planning
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Professional certifications in supply chain or planning a plus (APICS, ISM, CSCMP)


Required Skills    

  • Good English capability (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work with planning systems and databases (such as SAP)
  • Microsoft Excel to analyze cost and logistics data
