Purpose of the Position: 

  • Responsible for ensuring raw materials, components are delivered to production site to support production needs at optimal efficiency.
  • Production planning to ensure on time delivery to meet customer request.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities: 

  • Apply analytics and supply chain expertise to manage system parameters and meet target inventory and service level goals while minimizing costs 
  • Run system reports to determine (potential) material shortages that need to be expedited.
  • Follow-up with appropriate buyer to ensure materials are available to support production loading plan 
  • Maintain the accuracy of Bill of Material in the system 
  • Shipping and delivery management to meet customer needs. 
  • Track and monitor daily production and output 
  • Work closely with cross function team to protect customer. 
  • Spare parts planning and follow up to ensure no break to manufacturing.

 

 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in Logistic Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, English or related field 
  • Planning experience in a manufacturing plant for more than 3 years, related logistics experience is a plus.

 

 

Required Skills 

  • Good communication (verbal and written) and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization 
  • Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening). 
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. 
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP (SAP, QAD etc.) with a solid understand of planning, bills of material, procure to pay processes and supply chain operations.
