Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Product Manager, Hyperscale & Emerging DC (m/f/d)
Scope of Position:
The Product Manager, Hyperscale & Emerging DC is responsible for driving strategic alignment and growth execution for Oracle‑related and other AI solutions within the regional data center market. The role acts as a key interface between Global Account PLMs and the regional organization, ensuring that global Oracle account objectives are translated into clear regional priorities and executable actions that directly support the account’s growth trajectory.
In parallel, this position plays a pivotal role in expanding the business footprint in emerging data center accounts, requiring a strong market‑development orientation. The Product Manager is expected to actively identify, shape, and convert growth opportunities, building momentum in DC emerging accounts and positioning the company as a preferred and strategic supplier for AI‑driven data center solutions across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment & Account Execution
Own regional Oracle strategy and align global account objectives and product lines. Translate account goals into clear regional priorities, drive disciplined execution, ensure consistent solution positioning across teams, and coordinate global and regional stakeholders to enable fast, informed decisions.
- Market Development & Revenue Growth
Actively identify, shape, and convert opportunities in emerging data center accounts and accelerate growth. Partner with sales and application teams to shape complex pursuits, strengthen competitive positioning, and establish the company as a preferred and strategic supplier of AI‑enabled data centers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, technical or equivalent experience is preferred (MBA a plus).
• Knowledge of Data Center, Carrier, and In-Building networks and familiarity with product specifications.
• Fluent in English, German language skills are a benefit.
• +8 years of experience in Sales/Marketing, Market Development or Product Line Management.
• Strong leadership skills and commercial acumen.
• Ability to manage conflict, execute multiple tasks and complete within established timelines.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in product introduction, analysis, and development of product/market strategies.
• Experience dealing with global customers and markets.
• Knowledge of Corning product solutions.
• Adept at developing and presenting value propositions to a wide variety of customers.
Travel Requirements:
• Expected travel time is 25% but could be as high as 50%.
