Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of administrative day to day tasks
- Collaboration in the conception of marketing materials (literature, web and social media)
- Support / co-organisation of smaller event / tradeshows (research, communication - internal/ external, preperation and follow up)
- Content creation (organic social media, invitation emails)
- Preparation of event material & product samples
Requirements:
- You are currently enrolled at university, preferably in the field of business administration or a comparable degree programme - a specialisation in marketing is an advantage
- You work carefully and in a structured manner, even if several projects are running in parallel
- You have good organisational, communication and planning skills
- You have a good eye for detail
- You have very good English and German skills (written and oral)
- You can work 20 h/week during the semester and up to 40 h during the semester break
