Job Summary:

Reporting to the ROC Operations Manager, this role will manage End-to-End Supply Chain Operations and support our Global Trading Operations with supply planning and procurement activities for the Regional Operations Centers (ROCs - America, EMEA, APAC).

Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Buy-Sell supply chain/planning Operations
    • SO (Sales Order) processing for global customers
    • SO update o Item master creation
    • SO-PO (Purchase Order) distribution to internal stakeholders
    • Orderbook management of a global network
    • Shipping document creation and distribution at a global level. Including international and intercontinental shipments
    • Goods receiving and issuing across multiple global locations
    • Communication with the given stakeholders across the globe
    • Coordination and supporting of International Customer creation
    • Coordination and supporting of International Supplier creation
    • Coordination and supporting of Material (item master) creation
    • Monitoring and tracking the Buy-Sell BCs (Business Case), SOs and POs
    • Support of the sourcing of new products for Suppliers (CH) - Indirect Materials
    • Manage and maintain the administration of SCMC Switzerland indirect contracts (CH)
    • Processing Purchase Requisitions, liaising with Buyers for indirect PO conversion (CH)
    • Maintaining open indirect PO list (CH)
    • Matching invoices for payment processing with Shared Services Finance (CH)
    • Providing month-end open PO list to local Finance (CH)
  • Liaising with/Contacting Suppliers/Customers
    • Contact the Forwarding companies to support the documentation compliance for international shipments
    • Contact the global Suppliers to support the documentation compliance
    • Coordinating the shipment and expedite if necessary across a global network
    • Assist to the ROC Ops Coordinator to Manage the End-To-End Buy-Sell Ops
    • Expedite the deliveries from Suppliers across the globe.
    • Expedite the information from Supplier/Customer to support the execution of international orders
    • Communication with the Suppliers and Customers regarding administrative tasks in multiple international locations
  • Systems and Process enhancement
    • Buy-Sell SOP creation and update
    • Improve the Buy-Sell Operations
    • Participating in ROC Ops projects
    • Manage and implement the process improvements
    • Coordinating and supporting the audit (e.g. SOX document review for Buy-Sell)
    • S4Hana Issue resolution (problem-solving)
    • Act as the first escalation point for S4 Hana issues (escalation to IT)
    • Provide user trainings/refreshers
    • Regression testing Quarterly
  • Management and Escalation
    • Act as the first escalation point for material supply issues
    • Manage and track the Buy-Sell Operations for the whole End-To-End process
    • Liaise with the L1-2 Buyers and Logistics team to solve operational issues
    • Be the link between the Trade CoE and ROC Ops
    • Transform the business needs to the ROC Ops to be able to execute
    • Initiate process improvements for the Buy-Sell Ops and Trading
    • Ensure compliance of Global Buying Policy
    • Responsible to reach the target KPIs

Required Skills: 

  • University degree with 3 – 5 years’ experience in Planning or End-to-End Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in Logistics, Supplier Management and Customer Service
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian, spoken and written
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access and other Business Intelligence tools
  • Excellent team player with proven ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve goals
  • Have a “can do” attitude with a Customer-focused mentality
  • Ability to prioritize workload especially around customer service
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Operations or end to end Supply chain experience in SAP or a similar ERP 
  • Attention to detail
