Scope of Position:

  • Understands correct buying channels - catalogs, Corporate Card, and other buying options if applicable – is able to assist requesters with any channel
  • Coordinates the onboarding process of suppliers onto the Tradeshift (Outsourced Service Supplier) platform – including current data analysis on the status of suppliers and driving the entire process of getting suppliers onboarded as well as driving the integration the suppliers’ systems with Corning and Tradeshift
  • Manages each “Mini-Project” to completion around supplier onboarding, supplier system connection/integration



  • Reviewing onboarding reports as well as process tickets to oversee, control and manage the process of onboarding suppliers to Tradeshift, managing integrations to supplier systems, presenting results, and overall management of this process
  • Performing process support for Tradeshift Platform as it relates to onboarding, testing and confirmation of completeness
  • Answering questions received from suppliers, internal customers, Tradeshift support
  • Attending meetings regarding supplier onboarding activities
  • Resolving issues – either by correcting the problem or forwarding the issue to the appropriate part
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reference documentation
  • Working with project teams (internal and external to S2P) for process improvement, including leading smaller projects, provide process guidance, perform process / data analysis

  • Customer Service skills
  • Analytical skills (spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, Flow Charts)
  • Problem solving skills – ability to determine next steps/corrective action within the defined process
  • Organization skills, able to manage multiple mini projects
  • Able to get things done through others in a matrix organization
  • Able to learn and understand the end to end Requisition to Payment Process, Sarbanes Oxley requirements
  • Communication skills – Verbal, and written
  • Ability to develop SOPs
  • Language Skills - English fluent/native is a must. Other languages like German, French are a plus


Education & Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher Experience managing suppliers
  • Business/Procurement/Supply Chain Experience (2-4 years)
