Scope of Position:

  • This role will provide oversight and leadership for the planning and deployment of supply chain visibility capabilities for existing and new/emerging businesses, working with IT and Supply Chain subject matter experts
  • Responsible for the supply chain visibility capability program change management leadership
  • Key liaison between Corning and 3rd party partners for change management planning and execution of visibility platform
  • Key liaison between the supply chain visibility capability program and Corning business units for change management activities
  • Manage transition from program/project to sustainable operational service model
  • Support the development of a supply chain visibility COE

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Global Supply Management (GSM) resources (Category Managers, Business Supply Managers, Global Logistics Organization, etc.) to manage change management activities
  • Identify use cases and associated business process changes including mapping current state and future state business processes
  • Develop plan/schedule user training for visibility platform work spaces (apps) aligned with technical deployment schedule including support training in instructor role as needed
  • System “power user” to support users’ questions regarding visibility platform functionality
  • Support ongoing communications (newsletters, presentations, etc.) to system users for visibility platform success stories, new system functionality, etc. to build user adoption and skills
  • Manage/oversee visibility platform system access process
  • Escalates decision and unresolved issues to appropriate parties
  • Develop/lead internal Corning visibility platform users group and manage any external user groups or benchmarking activities
  • Work with Program Manager in:  Developing deployment plans for business units , Tracking Change Management work tasks, Providing information for updates and communications, Providing cost estimates for program/deployment budget & forecasts 
  • Champions use of Performance Excellence tools
  • Lead development/implementation of plan to transition from program/project to sustainable operational service model
  • Travel Requirements: Domestic and International travel as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Trainer/Instructor experience 
  • Innovation experience
  • Experience across multiple businesses, division and / or technologies
  • Green Belt / Black Belt
  • Experience with global business knowledge
  • Previous project management experience
  • Experience with deployment of supply chain visibility technologies 
  • Strong influence skills
  • Technical aptitude
  • Change Management training / experience
  • Interest in Digital technologies and enablers
  • Experience deploying projects to support supply chain operations
  • Experience working in a matrix environment or on a cross-functional team
  • Experience with global manufacturing and business through work and / or project assignments
