Scope of Position:

Involves determination of manufacturability of products and improved effectiveness and cost of production processes through application of scientific and technological principles encompassed in mechanics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, metallurgy, and machine design used for the design, production, operation, and use of machinery of all types.

 Education, Skills & Experience:

• BS Mechanical Engineering or related Degree

• 5+ years of relevant experience including technical competence in Mechanical Engineering

• Demonstrated effectiveness at strategy development, technical problem-solving, and decision-making.

• Technical writing and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

• Developing and delivering step change innovations to manufacturing.

• Competency in using Solid Works.

• Project Management skills and experience.

Focus of Role

• Performs research, design, and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic,

   thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.

• Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or

   electromechanical systems, instruments, controls and/or machines.

• Analyzes project goals and designs/modifies production equipment to meet quality standards and

   production quantity goals.

• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of

   identifiable factors.

The range for this position is $87,627.00 - $120,488.00.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
