Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Participates in monitoring capital spend, processes asset capitalizations, and maintains accuracy of fixed asset ledger
  • Performs inventory reconciliations and assists in inventory transaction management
  • Performs duties for month end financial statement close including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain monthly account reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Assist and support plant management to enhance their understanding of plant spending
  • Assist Plant Controller and Assistant Plant Controller with annual budget process and forecasts
  • Ad hoc financial analysis in support of plant operations
  • Other functions and projects as assigned in support of plant and company operations

 

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • GAAP and cost accounting understanding
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong computer and system skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized
  • Inventory control and management
  • 1 – 3 years of progressive industry experience

  • Longview (Khalix)
  • Blackline Account Reconciliation Tool

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimal; Less than 10%

 

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • 40 hours/wk plus overtime as required to accomplish objectives
