- Purpose of the Position Corning Advanced-Flow Reactors (AFR) Technologies is looking for a qualified individual to join AFR China Organization to meet the short term and long term business goals in the region. This position will be mainly focused on customer project testing and process development in Corning Reactor Technology Center (China) at Changzhou. It will also be responsible for providing excellent pre-sale application engineering support to the commercial team, and providing effective reactor and process commissions at customer sites to help drive regional commercial success. The position will help customer to move from batch process to flow chemistry process efficiently so that to realize the value of AFR technology to customers. - Day to Day Responsibilities " Be able to clearly articulate the values of Corning reactor products, and the benefits of their applications, as well as cover the technical details of our products succinctly. Provide comprehensive product and application technical supports to customers via telephone/web/email/visit: Answer customer questions relating to reactor products & auxiliaries, and technical subjects related to product process integration in both R/D and manufacturing environment. Independently or lead a team to run application tests, flow chemistry process development in the labs or at customer sites, and be responsible for customer on-site reactor and process commissions (site-acceptance tests, reactor installation, customer-training etc.) Support regional and global marketing and commercial teams in identifying customer needs and requirements to better qualify potential prospects for AFR technology & business development.
