Role Purpose

Corning is seeking an Account Product Line Specialist (APLS) to support execution of our integrated product and solution strategy for one of our most strategically significant customers. In this role, you will work at the center of a high-visibility, cross-portfolio account — translating complex customer requirements and program roadmaps into coordinated, execution-ready plans across Corning's product lines and internal teams. This is a role for someone who thrives on bringing structure and clarity to complex, matrixed environments and who wants to see their coordination work translate directly into customer outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate alignment across multiple Corning product lines and system programs to ensure cohesive delivery against strategic customer requirements, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to identify cross-portfolio dependencies, resolve execution risks, and support delivery readiness.
  • Translate customer architectural and program roadmaps into solution-level views that highlight risks, gaps, and timing conflicts across Corning's portfolios.
  • Track and communicate key program and solution-level metrics — including execution status, roadmap alignment, and delivery readiness — for internal reviews and account-level discussions.
  • Support customer-facing program reviews and execution discussions alongside the Account Product Line Manager (PLM) and commercial teams; monitor technology and competitive trends and surface insights to account and product line leadership.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business, or a related field with 3–5 years of experience in product management, program management, technical marketing, strategy, or commercial support roles
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus an MBA, with experience in strategic coordination, product development, or customer-focused solution planning
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical and commercial information into clear, execution-focused outputs

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Familiarity with hyperscale data center architectures and system-level solutions
  • Understanding of fiber, optical connectivity, advanced packaging, or related technologies
  • Experience supporting Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) customers
  • Exposure to large, strategic account environments

Key Competencies

  • Coordinates effectively across cross-functional teams — including Technology, Manufacturing, and commercial organizations — to align priorities and resolve dependencies
  • Applies systems-level thinking to understand how product lines interact across an integrated customer solution
  • Synthesizes technical and commercial information into structured roadmap views, risk summaries, and business case inputs
  • Operates effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Communicates program status and execution insights clearly across internal audiences, from working teams to senior leadership
