Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Purpose of Position:
OCS (Optical Connectivity Solutions) Digital Transformation Group is looking for an enthusiastic Agile expert to lead and coach our teams, driving the adoption of Agile practices beyond IT. We are committed to integrating Agile Methodologies to enhance efficiency, visibility, and accountability across our organization. As our Data Center Business Unit expands, we seek a passionate and versatile Agile Coach / Scrum Master / Kanban Master to join our team. Your role will be pivotal in transforming our project management from traditional methods to Agile frameworks, making work visible and manageable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Guide teams in using Scrum and Kanban methodologies to deliver key initiatives.
- Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to build Agile capability.
- Provide hands-on coaching to help teams adopt Agile practices.
- Promote and implement Agile methodologies across non-IT functions.
- Address resistance and help shift mindsets towards Agile principles.
- Advocate for transparency and accountability in all project work.
- Use Planview AgilePlace to manage and track Agile projects.
- Ensure effective use of AgilePlace for project visibility.
- Align Agile initiatives with business goals.
- Communicate effectively to ensure understanding and buy-in.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in Agile coaching within manufacturing or similar environments.
- Success in leading and coaching teams in Agile adoption.
- Experience with Planview AgilePlace or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
- Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about continuous improvement.
- Open-minded and adaptable.
- Committed to fostering a collaborative environment.

The range for this position is $116,625.00 - $160,360.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
