Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Purpose
The CEx Program Specialist engages directly with CN Sales Team and customers to implement strategic projects, support account management needs, and resolve back-office execution issues to reduce corrupted selling time, defend key accounts, increase service stickiness, and grow revenue.
Key Responsibilities
CEx Program Specialist
- Drive and coordinate execution of strategic account plans, supporting end‑to‑end account management, performance tracking, forecasting, and customer engagement.
- Partner with supply chain and channel teams to manage demand priorities, inventory, product launches, and resolve execution issues.
- Lead or support key account initiatives and consolidated reporting focused on revenue growth, product mix optimization, and connectivity expansion.
Network Architecture team support
- Support new and existing product sets and solutions to current and potential customers, create and manage rollout plans on a per customer basis.
- Understand the decision and buying processes of CN customers, including product approval processes and facilitate through POGs, contracts, and collateral as needed.
- Coordinate new product customer demand with available capacity.
Digital Customer Experience support
- Act as the voice of the customer by understanding key account buying processes and persona needs to inform Customer Experience initiatives.
- Promote and support customer digital tools, including portals, training, and self‑service adoption based on VOC and business cases.
- Support B2B commerce and global CX initiatives to simplify purchasing, automate processes, and improve customer efficiency and satisfaction.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in Customer Care and/or Sales & Marketing support role (Telcom industry experience preferred)
- Flexible and extended work hours may be required

- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to generate creative solutions to open‑ended challenges
- Proven initiative, resiliency, and project coordination skills across multiple departments and global, remote teams
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills with a strong customer focus and strategic account planning capability
- Proficiency in SFDC, Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), spreadsheets, and databases as problem‑solving tools
- Financial/accounting acumen and flexibility to support new customer engagements and extended work hours as needed
- AI tools experience

The range for this position is $63,000.00 - $86,625.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
