The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Scope of Position:
The ERP Transformation (ERPT) office is commissioned to drive the company’s multi-year enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation from 29 disparate and aging ERP systems across Corning to 3 instances of SAP S/4 HANA. The consolidation of Corning’s current ERP application environments onto a common platform will enable the delivery of enhanced functional capabilities, business efficiencies, increased agility, and a lower ERP cost structure for the company. The ERPT team will ensure Corning has a business-led, enterprise-wide approach to the transformation supporting the migration of our businesses before, during, and after their implementations.
As the Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management Enterprise Process Lead, you are a key member of the Enterprise Design and Standards team. You will ensure process and data standards established in the Corning Global Template are the foundation of each business/site implementation from initial engagement through deployment. This role requires SAP S/4 HANA product knowledge, including extended warehouse management related business processes, handling unit management, batch management, put-away strategies, and integration to PP/QM/SD where integration to MES is the norm.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Understand and shape the end-to-end processes in the logistics and warehouse space, drive alignment, acceptance, and adoption of enterprise-wide business processes
- Provide thought leadership, consolidating and sharing insights enterprise-wide such that the ERP Transformation is delivered on-time and on-budget with the expected value
- Act as a spokesperson for the benefits delivered from Global Template, especially in your area of expertise
- Support divisional COEs and the dedicated deployment teams in the introduction of Corning’s Global Template to local stakeholders, demonstrating systems knowledge and appreciation of the impact at a local level
- During individual deployment / interdependent projects, represent ERPT in process review sessions ensuring enterprise impact is considered. At the same time ensure that any business needs driving a requirement for customization are strongly challenged and options for process redesign are considered. Where customizations are needed, ensures the justification is documented and change progressed via governance model
- Facilitate meetings to ensure logistics and warehouse teams are on track to deliver against milestones and intervene as necessary to address roadblocks Where global standards and/or functional ownership exists, ensure timely guidance is gained and included into design
- Work with our business and functional process partners to develop roadmaps that best positions our investments in SAP and meet our program objectives
- Identifies and monitors critical KPIs to drive process area and enterprise-wide improvements
- Partner with other ERPT teams (Enterprise Data, Analytics, Change Management) to develop shared collateral and embed new ways of working e.g., process maps, training materials
Travel Requirements: Up to 25% domestic / international
Hours of work/work schedule/flextime: Monday – Friday, with some afterhours work for collaboration with oversees colleagues
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering or related program
- Master’s degree preferred
Required Years and Area of Experience:
- Minimal of 10+ years progressive experience with SAP WM/EWM and Logistics Execution modules, including process design and introduction and in-depth knowledge of master data objects required to support the EWM/IM processes
- Experience in previous EWM and S/4 HANA implementations, global solution development, support, and governance capacity
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization, in a highly matrixed structure
- Priority setting in alignment with project priorities and department strategy
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals and drive to timely decisions to solve
- Strategic SAP Solution Leadership: Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity, amplification, and Global Template adaptability
- Experienced in cross functional topics such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales order management and detailed integration with EWM
- Experienced in implementing EWM with external systems like MES and ASRS
- Experienced POSC, LOSC and Handling Unit management methods in EWM
- Thorough understanding of SAP Batch management across all supply chain areas
- Ability to communicate complex business/technical challenges in a simplified manner
Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:
- Relevant operational warehousing in a manufacturing environment experience
- Generating and maintaining artifacts such as, end-to-end process flows
- Mapping processes to systems and identifying unnecessary complexities, dependencies, and duplication
- Change management experience in principles and methodologies and can develop new tools to generate excitement and engagement

The range for this position is $122,882.00 - $168,964.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
