Role Purpose
Proactive business partner who will provide insightful financial analysis to OFC’s FR and Drop plant cable product line teams to maximize profitability and help drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tools and reports to the Finance and Product Line Management (PLM) teams.
- Streamline financial analysis tools and processes to improve efficiency.
- Support Product Line Managers (PLMs) in understanding financial results, such as drivers of revenue, margin, and cost of manufacturing (COM).
- Help analyze P&L performance, trends, and impacts of mix, price, volume, and manufacturing variances on margins.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities to drive operational improvements.
- Conduct product line evaluations, scenario analysis, variance analysis, and margin analysis.
- Assist with annual budgets and long-term strategic plans at the product line level.
- Perform Make vs. Buy analysis and track progress toward CCC/CPK metrics.
- Support financial analysis for investment proposals and cost reduction initiatives.
- Provide insights on transfer pricing for FR/Drop product lines.
- Connect local financial results with regional product line outcomes through consolidation processes.
- Liaise between plant controllers, entity controllers, and corporate finance to ensure accurate reporting and understanding.
- Assist the FR/Drop PLM Controller with ad hoc projects.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 5 years of related cost accounting or other financial analysis experience in manufacturing setting
- SAP detailed application knowledge.
- Advanced analytical skills, including ability to work with complex data sets and multidimensional databases
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and modeling scenarios
- Knowledge of PowerBi is helpful
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate across cultures.
- Ability to work in a “Fast Paced” environment with a strong commitment to meet objectives and deadlines.

Experiences/Education - Desired
- Experience with data management across multiple platforms
- Prior manufacturing experience (plant financial analyst or APC)
- Ability to work independently and within a matrix organization
- Ability to work in cross functional teams and work with all levels of organization.

The range for this position is $78,039.00 - $107,304.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
