The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Direct support the Global Automated Testing Manager and the EBS Automated Testing Center of Excellence

· Responsible for the development and maintenance of Worksoft automated test scripts

· Perform and support weekly / monthly tests using previously developed Worksoft scripts

· Collaborate with key business users and IT to reconcile errors found during regression testing

· Maintain existing and develop new Worksoft scripts required for test execution

· Manage Automated Testing Sharepoint site

· Prepare reports covering testing preparation and progress

· Support the project management office (PMO), IT project managers and business project managers in project progress tracking, change control, problem solving, training, testing, SharePoint site administration, access administration and data maintenance.

 

Education and Experience:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or Engineer; or equivalent experience required

· Experience in data management, project management, and/or change management

· Knowledge of programming techniques a plus

 

Required Skills:

 

· Fluent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal

· Comprehensive computer skills (Excel, Access, SAP, etc.)

· Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) with the ability to perceive both the big picture and individual details

· Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within set deadlines

· Knowledge of business processes

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
