The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic IT Supply Chain Leader to drive advanced planning transformation initiatives within our organization. As a key member of the IT and supply chain teams, you will partner with peers in the business and IT Service Line organizations to  lead the implementation, optimization, and scaling of advanced planning systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and enable data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, supply chain knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to drive change across complex organizational structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with business functional and IT teams to lead the transformation of advanced planning systems and processes, aligning them with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Co-Own the capability roadmap and life cycle of the advanced planning systems and drive adoption across global business.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and IT teams to analyze, streamline, and enhance planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
  • Technology Implementation: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement, and integrate advanced planning software (e.g., APS tools like SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM, Kinaxis RapidResponse, or Blue Yonder) into the organization’s existing systems.
  • Change Management: Drive organizational change by fostering adoption of new technologies, processes, and best practices, ensuring smooth transitions and user engagement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Develop and implement strategies to leverage data analytics, AI, and machine learning for enhanced forecasting and planning accuracy.
  • Data Quality Enhancement: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of planning data across systems by establishing robust data governance frameworks and implementing automated validation processes.
  • Anticipate business needs and challenges to work to address using technology.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across supply chain, IT, finance, and other departments to align initiatives, set priorities, and resolve challenges.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of planning transformations and continuously improve outcomes.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in supply chain management and IT systems integration 
  • 2+ years experience and extensive knowledge of advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder). 

  • Self-driven and takes ownership and accountability 

  • Strong leadership and organizational change management skills. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. 

 

Desired Skills 

  • Proficiency in data analytics, AI, and machine learning applications. 

  • Project implementation experience deploying one of the advanced planning systems 

  • Experience interacting with SAP S/4 Hana

The range for this position is $88,874.00 - $122,202.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
