Job Description: 

For our growing Integrated Planning COE, we are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Planning Process and System Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing and promoting use of standard planning processes and system, implementing standards across Corning Businesses and ongoing process improvement. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Corning’s Integrated Planning COE provides process, standardization, benchmarking and governance for supply planning processes and execution in the SAP S/4 HANA platform. In this role, Global Process Expert brings defined standard supply planning process expertise and enables local Business execution within SAP S4H system.  This person recommends appropriate process changes and SAP S/4 system settings and requirements, necessary to realize supply planning activities leveraging global standards. Integrated Planning Global Process expert is also responsible for process ownership, leading and owning global change management in the supply planning domain and developing the documentation with best-in-class practices and recommendations. Lastly Global Process Expert documents and transfers subject matter expertise and recommendations to business power users responsible for executing supply chain planning steps. 

 

Education and experience: 

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply chain planning, Economy, Engineering  
  • Min 5-7 years of experience with supply chain planning processes and systems (i.e.: SAP ECC, S4H, IBP, Kinaxis) incorporates execution and implementation.  
  • Expert knowledge of supply chain planning processes and systems. 
  • Knowledge of industry processes regulations and standards (APICS) 
  • Proven experience in a similar role within supply chain management, with specific experience in planning process ownership and improvements.  
  • Deep understanding and functional knowledge of supply planning processes, but not limited to: short term production planning, MRP, RCCP, ATP. 
  • Awareness of the key performance indicators used to monitor the effectiveness of supply planning.

Travel requirements: 

  • Ability to work remotely and ability to travel to international locations for duration of up to 2 weeks at a time. 
  • Travel will constitute 30% of the role

The range for this position is $130,166.00 - $178,979.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
