The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. Role Purpose
We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing and contract strategy for capital equipment, parts, services, and construction projects. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of capital projects across business expansion, maintenance, and development initiatives, driving cost savings, supplier performance, and project efficiency through best-in-class sourcing and contract management practices. This role reports to the Global Capital Team Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Lead strategic sourcing for capital equipment, construction, and related services
- Develop sourcing strategies for major capital projects from planning through execution
- Manage bid and tender processes, including RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, and award decisions
- Negotiate and administer a variety of contract types, ensuring scope, quality, schedule, and performance expectations are met
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Trade Compliance
- Drive capital cost reduction, supplier performance, risk management, and project controls
- Lead supplier performance reviews, claims/disputes resolution, warranty administration, and contract closeout
- Support project teams with best practices in sourcing, contract administration, TCO analysis, and cost reduction
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in capital sourcing, project procurement, and contract administration
- Experience supporting large capital-intensive projects
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, TCO, risk management, supplier cost analysis, and work breakdown structures
- Hands-on experience with RFP/RFQ development, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Understanding of multiple contract models, including fixed price, lump sum, GMP, turnkey, cost-plus, time & materials, and unit price
- Ability to interpret technical scopes of work and work effectively in complex manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience with complex manufacturing equipment, automation, fabrication, machining, or assembly
- CPSM, C.P.M., or PMP certification
- Experience developing should-cost models and leading project team workshops
Travel
- 10% domestic and international travel

The range for this position is $96,534.00 - $132,734.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
