Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

The Marketing Specialist for the Network of Preferred Installers (NPI) Program oversees marketing activities, program updates, and communications to maintain a best-in-industry program. Reporting to senior leadership, they support key installer relationships and deliver updates, marketing communications, and portal enhancements. With a global footprint, the role requires a cross-regional approach while contributing to team development, cross-training, and program execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support program members and sales with development of analytics/dashboards.
  • Built partner communication plans to include program changes/improvements, training opportunities, product updates, promotions, etc.
  • Portal development/updates.
  • Build/update membership benefits and requirements.
  • Provide enhanced customer service support to sales teams and program members.
  • With guidance from manager, support annual program marketing plans and the execution of those plans.
  • Promote training opportunities and manage training records in Salesforce for easy visibility and tracking.
  • Build relationships with key program members to stay connected to opportunities and market dynamics.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to support strategies for the program
  • Support day to day NPI program execution to include point of sale, warranty, and Design/Win processing, as needed
  • Develop process and cadence to manage program requests most efficiently
  • Support day to day membership requests through the NPI Inbox alongside NPI Program Manager.
  • Support training initiatives as defined by manager.
  • Work with sales, product management, market development and others to maintain best in class program.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Corning Optical Communications’ products and solutions, their applications and value.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • BS/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-years customer service, marketing, or equivalent
  • Experience executing marketing plans
  • Experience with marketing programs
  • Work with and learn software and cloud applications
  • Ability to update and build customer portal
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of fiber optic networks

The range for this position is $75,902.00 - $104,366.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
