Scope of Position:

This position will lead planning and analysis activities for Commercial operations, while providing support to OCO leadership and senior controllers. This will require management, optimization, and execution of current reporting requirements through development of collaborative relationships with various stakeholders. Stakeholders include OCO Commercial leadership and commercial controllers, sector finance leaders, and at times cross functional leadership in OCS/OFC. This role will be responsible for drive process improvements in key planning areas, including Green Book, Black Book, forecasting while providing decision support for OCO strategic analysis. The role requires strong understanding of core COC financial processes, systems and a broad understanding of the organization. This role will identify improvement opportunities in OCO and sector finance space, and the impact of these efforts may extend to benefit non-OCO/Finance segments of COC.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage key OCO processes – financial planning (BB, GB, forecasting), data analytics to support OCO and finance leaders.
  • Develop presentation material for use in key leadership meetings (OCO, COC LT, Finance planning)
  • Strong liaison interface with other finance and sector leadership efforts (process re-design, deals, Corporate alignment, etc), including counterparts in OCS/OFC finance.
  • Support division controller-OCO with allocation of work across team, to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Interface with Corp finance teams and leadership on time-sensitive requests; influence the discussion to deliver sensible/consistent responses.
  • Design and implement programs, processes, and procedures to reduce cycle time and better decision making in support of the achievement of corporate, function and business goals and objectives.
  • Proactively utilize business partnership skills to improve cost understanding and deliver more cost-effective performance.
  • Provides finance expertise and decision support to business leaders in support of the division strategy (efficient turnaround time to inquiries from internal customers).
  • Participate as needed in OCO/Finance leadership meetings. Represent OCO finance in key meetings as needed.
  • Analyze and report on key operational and accounting metrics. Present financial performance in various forums as required.
  • Assist with or lead ad-hoc analysis as requested by COC sector/finance or Corp leadership. Provide support for accounting entries as needed.
  • Strong emphasis on internal controls, including creation and management of internal controls; remediation of internal control issues; related reporting

Travel Requirements:

  • 5% - 10%

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Generally, Mon - Fri, 40 -hour work week, additional hours as needed

Required Education:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent technical degree
  • CPA or MBA in Accounting, Economics, or Finance preferred.
  • Required minimum 10 Years of work experience.
