The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Role Purpose

Lead the Global OFC Data Maintenance Organization (DMO), ensuring accurate, consistent, and well-governed data across manufacturing and digital processes.

Partner with global DMO, manufacturing strategy, and business teams to strengthen data standards, policies, systems, and metrics that support operational excellence and a strong customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead execution of the Global OFC DMO strategy in alignment with global data and manufacturing excellence standards.
• Create, maintain, and improve data standards, governance processes, and policies for manufacturing, supply chain, and digital operations.
• Partner with global and regional DMO teams, business data stewards, and site stakeholders to drive consistent master data practices.
• Monitor data quality through audits, compliance reviews, metrics, and reporting.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts that strengthen data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, controls, and reporting across manufacturing sites.
• Provide leadership and direction to direct and matrixed OFC DMO team members.
• Support SAP-related initiatives, manufacturing transformation, and digital optimization projects.
• Recommend process, technology, infrastructure, and governance improvements that support manufacturing and commercial goals.

Experience/Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, data management, data governance, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems and enterprise data management processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, improvement initiatives, or change efforts.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to use metrics, reporting, and governance processes to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP tools such as MM, BW, Workflow, reporting, queries, data tables, and mass maintenance functionality.

Experience/Education Preferred

• MBA, APICS certification, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience in global manufacturing environments.
• Spanish language proficiency; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and data quality.

Travel Requirements

• Travel up to 20% within the Americas, including manufacturing facilities in Keller, TX, Hickory, NC, and Reynosa, Mexico.
• Occasional international travel may be required.

The range for this position is $126,898.00 - $174,486.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
