Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Corning is a global leader in optical communications, supplying the fiber, cable, and connectivity infrastructure that powers hyperscale and AI data centers worldwide. The Account Product Line Manager – Oracle is a senior commercial and strategic role responsible for defining and executing Corning's product and supply strategy for one of its most critical hyperscale and AI infrastructure customers. This role sits at the intersection of customer strategy, portfolio leadership, and cross-functional execution — owning the full product line relationship from demand forecasting through commercial negotiations and operational delivery. Candidates should expect to navigate rapid demand growth, constrained supply environments, decisions made with incomplete information, and complex cross-functional alignment across a highly matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Oracle's account-level product line strategy, including portfolio alignment, pricing, capacity planning, and long-term commercial execution across fiber, cable, connectivity, and hardware product lines
  • Translate Oracle's data center build plans, regional requirements, and AI infrastructure demand signals into supply, capacity, and product roadmap decisions in partnership with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Sales
  • Monitor and manage Oracle revenue, order entry, backlog, on-time delivery, and allocation — driving corrective actions when capacity, quality, or delivery gaps threaten customer commitments
  • Engage Oracle stakeholders and channel partners on roadmap alignment, demand reviews, supplier approvals, and issue resolution across North America, EMEA, and APAC
  • Lead cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain; structure and prioritize work with clear owners, escalation paths, and decision criteria

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, commercial leadership, supply chain strategy, or hyperscale OEM/ODM environments
  • Proven ownership of portfolio-level financial performance, demand forecast alignment, and customer-specific product strategy
  • Experience translating customer demand signals into supply, capacity, inventory, and pricing decisions across complex, multi-product portfolios
  • Cross-functional leadership experience spanning product management, engineering, supply chain, finance, and sales

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Oracle account familiarity or experience managing a major hyperscale, cloud, or strategic enterprise customer
  • Deep knowledge of hyperscale AI data center architectures and optical networking technologies
  • Fiber, cable, connectivity, or broader infrastructure market knowledge
  • International experience or demonstrated ability to manage programs across North America, EMEA, and APAC
  • Ability to present complex technical and commercial tradeoffs clearly to executive stakeholders
