The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace.

Role Purpose
This newly created senior-level role supports Corning Optical Communications during a period of rapid growth and strategic transformation from a telecom-focused business to a technology-driven organization. Reporting directly to the DVP of HR, this role sits at the intersection of organizational strategy, talent, and execution.
The Senior Manager, Organizational Development acts as a trusted thought partner to HR and business leadership while remaining deeply hands-on. The role diagnoses organizational needs, translates insights into integrated OD and workforce solutions, and drives execution across multiple, interdependent workstreams. The scope and priorities of the role will evolve as organizational needs and transformation efforts mature.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose organizational effectiveness, structures, capabilities, and ways of working across Optical Communications
- Translate business strategy and growth plans into actionable organizational and workforce implications
- Develop and orchestrate an integrated OD and workforce roadmap with clear priorities and milestones
- Lead organizational design assessments, providing leaders with options, implications, and execution plans
- Design and drive proactive workforce planning aligned to growth, capability, and capacity needs
- Partner with HRBPs to strengthen succession planning and identify critical future roles and capabilities
- Identify capability gaps and partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to address them
- Support people and organizational readiness for growth initiatives, including new plant openings
- Coordinate across HR Centers of Excellence and external partners to ensure cohesive execution
- Own implementation, adoption, and refinement to ensure change initiatives deliver measurable impact
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
- Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in organizational development, workforce planning, or related HR transformation roles
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, enterprise-scale OD or transformation initiatives
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and systems-thinking capabilities
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive execution without direct authority
- Experience operating in global, growth-oriented, or manufacturing/technology environments preferred

The range for this position is $146,264.00 - $201,113.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
