Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Scope of position:

Administer dynamic project management software globally with responsibility to ensure the system is running efficiently and effectively across all functional areas.

 

**Remote position**

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leveraging request queues, templates, projects, programs, portfolios, users, timesheets, reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and custom forms to best meet the requests of the global marketing organization.
  • Balance resources and workload for marketing services users and external agency users using system resourcing tools. Maintain system by periodic reviews of data and utilizing reports and dashboards to continuously monitor for accuracy.
  • Provide input regarding the capabilities of Workfront during global performance excellence initiatives and provide best practice recommendations. Lead and manage system optimization and process improvement projects.
  • Design and build intuitive system and processes for global users.
  • Train all new and existing users on Corning’s instance of Workfront and associated processes including role training for system administrators, planners, workers, reviewers, and requesters.
  • Conceptualize, generate and update custom workflows and forms, project templates, request queues and reports.
  • Manage Adobe Workfront Proof and Adobe Workfront Fusion, serving as system administrator and ensuring full functionality is utilized.
  • Add and manage all Workfront user accounts including initial set-up, activation, permission assignments, license security detail and deactivation as requested.
  • Provide technical support for all Workfront related issues ranging from daily support questions to periodic system updates to urgent data recovery issues. 
  • Schedule admin team requests within 24 hours of submission and communicate project schedules, team assignments and any special requirements to stakeholders. 
  • Assign literature codes to marketing collateral, manage lit code pad, and identify active vs inactive codes.
  • Manage creative operations email inbox and respond to all requests in a timely manner.
  • Serve as project liaison for requests from executive staff members

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred

 

Required skills:

  • 3+ years Workfront system administrator experience required
  • 3+ years traffic coordinator and/or project management experience required
  • 3+ years of experience working in a graphic design, marketing highly preferred
