Role Scope:
Corning Inc. is seeking a senior Supply Chain leader to join the Integrated Planning transformation team. As a key player in our Supply Chain transformation, this role will focus on building the global supply chain planning capabilities and standards for Corning, as well as partnering with Corning’s businesses to lead their planning transformation journey towards best-in-class practices.
This leader will oversee the design, development, and implementation of supply chain planning work processes and standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams at Corning’s businesses to effectively implement, lead change management and adoption of planning standards.
As a member of the Integrated Planning team, s/he will be a key contributor of optimizing Corning Supply Chain from a service, cost, and working capital perspective and contributing to the global integrated plan organization. This role is highly visible and has growth potential to evolve into a broader leadership position.
Key Responsibilities of the role but are not limited to:
• Lead the creation of Corning’s Integrated Planning standards.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of the supply chain planning standard work processes for Corning’s businesses.
• Core partner to Corning businesses in adopting best in class practices in the creation and execution of raw material, production, and distribution plan for short/mid/long-term planning horizons, to meet customer demand.
• Support SIOP process implementation for Corning globally and how to effectively translate agreements into a material, production and distribution plan for Corning’s businesses.
• Lead the standard work process, policies and procedures to create effective inventory plans, actions, and results, including defining Safety Stock, generating plans for SLOB and optimizing overall cash to serve for the business.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.
• Attract, develop, and retain top supply planning talent in the organization. Build capabilities of the team.
Requirements:
• 15+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Brings a creative and progressive lens on how to design and develop a supply chain (planning) organization, creating the appropriate structure and goals/objectives that will elevate accountability, create a sense of urgency, and establish a customer service mindset.
• Strong analytical skills with deep SIOP experience that will drive better collaboration across functions and improve demand and supply planning.
• Ability to build and lead teams to deliver results; Excels in talent development, conflict resolution, and promoting a culture of operational discipline.
• Proficiency in advanced ERP environments. SAP Preferred.
• Proven ability to build a strategic plan and execute it effectively.
• Ability to identify and execute process improvement initiatives that will drive productivity improvements, reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Disciplined approach to prioritization of work, project commitment and continuous improvement within Product Supply and across the Company, ensuring that the organization is becoming more effective in advancing performance.

The range for this position is $154,680.00 - $212,685.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
