Role Purpose

 

The Senior Manager, Logistics Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for leading the development and deployment of enterprise-wide standards, processes, and best practices across logistics, warehousing, trade compliance, and SAP-related logistics capabilities. This role will drive operational efficiency, consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization by establishing scalable frameworks and partnering cross-functionally with business, operations, and technology teams.

This leader will manage a team and serve as a strategic partner in optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, improving system utilization, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Logistics and Warehousing Standards

  • Develop and implement standard processes across logistics and warehousing operations.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency, service, and cost performance.
  • Partner with site and regional leaders to ensure adoption of best practices and operating standards.
  • Monitor performance and compliance to support continuous improvement.

Trade Compliance Excellence

  • Establish and maintain standardized trade compliance processes across the organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure import/export activities meet regulatory requirements.
  • Support risk mitigation through controls, training, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Embed trade compliance requirements into logistics operations and standard processes.

SAP Deployment and Process Standardization

  • Lead standardization of SAP-enabled logistics and warehousing processes.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to improve system usage, process consistency, and reporting.
  • Translate operational needs into scalable system and process improvements.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, training, and change management.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing COE team.
  • Set clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with business objectives.
  • Build strong partnerships across operations, supply chain, compliance, finance, and IT.
  • Influence stakeholders at multiple levels to drive alignment, adoption, and execution of standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 

Education and Experience – Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, trade compliance, or related operational excellence roles
  • Prior leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams
  • Up to 25% travel 

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience building or leading a Center of Excellence model
  • Background in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or similar disciplines

The range for this position is $136,157.00 - $187,216.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
