The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success.  It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation.  GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.

 

Role Scope:

As the Sr Manager, Procurement – Sourcing Excellence, we’re building world‑class sourcing capabilities—and we’re looking for a senior leader to help shape how procurement delivers value across the enterprise. This role sits at the center of strategy, execution, and influence, partnering globally with Procurement, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain leaders.

 

You’ll define and deploy best in class sourcing practices while also rolling up your sleeves to lead complex, high impact sourcing initiatives and negotiations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set the standard for sourcing excellence by designing and deploying category management, strategic sourcing, negotiation, and SRM frameworks used globally
  • Lead and/or advise on complex, high value negotiations across direct and indirect categories
  • Strengthen supplier partnerships through effective SRM, governance, and performance management
  • Enable contract manufacturing and external supply strategies, supporting make/buy decisions, supplier selection, and long-term partnerships
  • Drive digital sourcing and analytics, leveraging tools like eSourcing platforms, eAuctions, and dashboards to scale impact
  • Build capability and influence change, coaching teams and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing
  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, negotiations, and contracts
  • Proven ability to deploy tools, governance, and best practices in complex, global environments
  • Strong executive presence, analytical skills, and comfort operating in a matrixed organization

 

Desired:

  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree
  • CoE experience
  • SRM or contract manufacturing expertise
  • International exposure

 

Location: 

This position can be based in Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY.

The range for this position is $158,319.00 - $217,689.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
