The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Purpose of the Position:

• This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Teamcenter solutions for Corning globally. 
• This person will work with business leaders, users, and IT resources to define the scope, develop, implement, and support standardized solutions.
• The role will also include identifying and implementing best practices regarding solution design, development, implementation, and support of Teamcenter.
• The position requires good communication skills with IT peers and business professionals who specialize in their support fields.  Remote opportunity available.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead Teamcenter implementation projects
• Teamcenter subject matter expert
• Design, configure and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) using the Teamcenter toolset
• Design, configure and support PLM integration to ERP, CAD, MES and other critical systems
• Follow Corning standard project management practices
• Identify new best practices and ensure that solutions are aligned with Manufacturing 4.0 strategies
• Interact with customers to gather, define, develop, and support complex manufacturing applications and solutions
• Ensure that Corning follows industry best practices and promotes standardization across divisions and instances
• Maintain internal customer communication, assuring timely status updates and issue resolution
• Maintain status of SME on specific area of knowledge by researching and keeping current with new and anticipated technology within their area and related areas of expertise
• Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications as well as training and support documentation
• Assist in the data migration from legacy systems to new solutions
• Provide support and troubleshooting of IT systems and data interfaces
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required. Or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
• Experience with Teamcenter and Active Workspace along with Teamcenter integration with ERP, MES or other enterprise applications
• Experience with CAD integrations

Required Skills:

• Project Management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively gather requirements from customers and present information
• Time Management and Organizational skills - ability to manage multiple tasks – ability to provide accurate estimates for time and effort required to complete tasks
• Ability to work independently to design, develop, test,  and troubleshoot applications
• Ability to change and adjust smoothly as situations demand
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Desired Experience

• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• Experience with object-oriented programming (.NET, Python)
• Experience with GIT

Travel: Ability to accommodate travel up to 10% for project related meetings.    May include international travel.

The range for this position is $101,905.00  - $132,477.00.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
