Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of software solutions.
• Collaborate with the development team to design, write, and maintain efficient code.
• Perform data analysis and create data models using Python and SQL.
• Support machine learning and deep learning projects.
• Participate in system development and contribute to the enhancement of existing platforms.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning technologies.
• Experience with system development and software lifecycle.
• Experience with low-code UI programming framework, e.g., Streamlit or Dash.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
